I bought some cheap giant arm petg and it smells kinda like hand sanitizer lmao
Is this how it’s supposed to be?
If not what else could it be?
I mean, I guess there are worse things that it could smell like! 
Yes, some filaments smell funny when printing. Supposedly PLA and PETG are “safer” to be around than ABS, but I’d rather just run the printer in a well-ventilated area at all times if possible.
If it upsets you, try a different brand of PETG. I can’t remember the Bambu filaments smelling strongly like that.
I’m talking about it smells after it’s been printed, not during printing
My actual parts that come out have a faint smell of hand sanitizer it’s worse if it’s a container that can close it’s like the smell builds up
I’ve had Bambu filament and that didn’t smell and the parts don’t smell either this is the first time I’ve heard about smelly plastic as well lmao
