Trying to link PC to bambu mini, eventually made some progress but it asked to update which I did, it now does not connect.
The pin No I had now comes up as invalid and to go to account on printer and select region and wait for pin, I selected english but pin does not appear.
These are the normal instructions, do they help you?
To get the PIN (Access Code) on your Bambu Lab A1 Mini,
Go to the printer’s screen, tap Settings > Account, select your region, and the PIN will appear; you use this temporary code in Bambu Studio’s device tab to bind the printer to your account, or use the Bambu Handy app to scan the QR code shown on the printer’s screen for quick setup.
On the A1 Mini Printer Screen
Tap the Settings Gear icon.
Scroll down and select Account or LAN Only Mode(depending on firmware/setup).
Ensure your correct Region is selected.
A temporary PIN Code (6 digits) and/or a QR Codewill appear. Note this code or take a picture!
Thanks for replying,
Thats what I had done and I did get a pin code which I noted, then I went to studio and it had connected, I then was prompted for an update on the printer and after that the studio prompted for the pin, I typed it in but it then stated wrong pin. I then could not get the pin to appear on the printer.
I then messed around on studio and eventually got connected but too late to start a project so turned it all off and will access it again tomorrow and see if all is well.
I will post an update tomorrow on how it goes.
Not sure what I done but now in bambu studio it shows connected
So tried to print some cable clips when I first clicked send to printer it stated printer is calibrating try later so I assume pc it is talking to the printer.
So I waited til calibration finished and then send and now failed to send, check current system and error code 3030.
What should I check?
Error codes -3030 and -3040 are typically caused by network issues on the PC side . Try restarting your computer, printer, and router, or switch to a different network before testing again.
When checking reason for failure I get…
http code:60
Reason: curl:SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not ok:SSL certificateproblem: unable to get local issuer certificate [Error 60]
I reckon that could be the issue but don’t want to mess with the registry,
There is a local guy who managed to get my wi-fi working for me, he is more up to speed with that side of things so will see if he will be kind enough to try and sort this.
It may take a few days but will report back either way.
