Hello, I am thinking of purchasing PLA Marble for my A1 w/ AMS, I just have a couple of questions about if you have experience with it.

Can you use PLA Basic or PLA Silk alongside PLA Marble?

How Reliable is PLA Marble?
Yes.
My Crown Column model uses both PLA Marble White and PLA Silk+ Gold, they are fine together.
While some PLA mixes have less strength than others when combined, they all stick together.
It isn’t much different from regular PLA, it just has some additions to provide the marble effect. This does make the filament slightly weaker because those additions can be fracture points; they are so small that unless you are using the part structurally, it is fine.
In short, you can mix and match different types of PLA, but if you do so at a uniform layer and the part is tall, less strength is required to snap the parts.
Much of this can be overcome by tweaks to the design, and in fairness, most people would not use silk or marble structurally.

Just one more question, I have a Standard 0.2mm Nozzle, would the Hardened Steel and Hot End need to be replaced?
If so, what would be the easiest way to do it?
Can I assume you mean you have the standard 0.4mm nozzle and usually print at 0.2mm layer height?
If so, nope, you can just print.
The 0.4mm nozzle is provided as standard, you would have needed to purchase a new smaller nozzle to have a 0.2mm one. These are used for very fine designs.
If you did mean a 0.2mm nozzle, it is too small for the is specific filament, this is due to the additives that provide the marble effect, they tend to jam the 0.2mm nozzle.
The PLA Marble from BL doesn’t require a hardened steel nozzle as the additive isn’t considered so harsh it would cause wear.
This is not true of all filaments from all companies, you should always research before use as guessing can be expensive.
Bambu Lab always provides these answers on the filament page, where the nozzle size and type are disclosed.

The one question you didn’t ask is “can the marble filament be used with the AMS or AMS lite (in your case), it can. Again, both locations I mentioned detail this. Some filaments will work with the ANS, but nit the AMS lite, so, always check.

It will literally say the size right on the front of the nozzle. Unless you changed it out it comes with a 0.4 from the factory
I keep on forgetting 0.4mm is the normal nozzle from the factory + On Holidays, my bad!
