I’m attempting my first print with PLA Matte. I load the PLA, select the Bambu Matte filament type and I also went in an increased nozzle temp to 230 reading up on it. I initiate the print and no filament comes out. I put regular PLA in and ran a test print and there isn’t a clog or issue as the regular PLA prints but nothing comes out with PLA Matte. Any recommendations or are there settings I’m missing. Using a P1P .20MM standard. .4 diameter nozzle.
PLA Mate and PLA have almost identical settings.
So it’s probably neither due to the settings nor the fact that it’s PLA matte. So it’s more likely to be something else. Such as the filament not being inserted correctly or something is stuck.
The easiest way to check this is directly on the printer, so forget about all the settings in Slicer for now and go straight to the printer: First press “unload” filament and then “load” filament. Then you will see whether any filament comes out at all.
Until that works, you don’t need to worry about the slicer settings at the moment. Only then can you continue, and you are welcome to give us feedback.

I loaded the PLA Matte and went through the loading, then unloaded and loaded again after I pulled the filament out. Nothing comes out. So I removed the PLA Matte and loaded just regular PLA and it prints, filament comes out. So with regular PLA it comes out with the Matte loaded nothing and I’ve tried loading and unloading several times.
Is it Bambu pla matte or another brand? but try cutting like one inch off the end and retry

Then at least it’s not due to the slicer settings, that much is certain.
Does it pull the filament in even a little bit? Does the spool move even a little bit? But we’re not talking about an AMS, are we? You’re feeding the printer directly, am I right?
Just so you understand: It doesn’t matter whether it’s PLA or PLA matte - if anything, there’s something seriously wrong with the spool. You could take a photo of the spool or how it is mounted.

It’s another brand. I think it was user error meaning me. lol. I just really pushed in the filament this last time and it started. I must have not pushed it in far enough, my fault guys, thanks for your help, still learning all this stuff and appreciate the support!!!

Cutting the end of the filament at an angle can make it easier to push past fittings, entrance to extruder, etc.
