All, just to follow up and close the thread: the issue has been resolved. Turns out it was a bad accelerometer. Once I replaced that, the print quality is back to normal.
As for a few follow-ups to discussion points we touched in the thread:
- I print PLA and PetG with the door closed, and it has never been a problem. In fact, when I open the door, sometimes the corners lift off, I assume from the AC turning on in the house. No issues with the door closed.
- for PLA, I raised the bed temp to 65, and it seems to give better results than 55. Is it necessary? I don’t know, but it works, so that is what I am doing.
- for the 0.2 nozzle I reduce the flow rate to 0.8. (calibration actually suggests to go even lower, but 0.8 works quite well).
- Now, I tried ASA for the first time and MAJOR issues with it (not sticking to the plate at all), but i will open a new thread for that.
Thank you all for your help and suggestions!
