I am printing the medal base from this project RaceHive - Modular Race Medal Display - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld . The print profile and filaments were updated using these instructions for printing PLA with PETG support Printing guide for using PLA Basic and PETG HF for support | Bambu Lab Wiki .
The medal base is oriented face down so it has a matching plate texture with the medal plate.
I am printing on a P2S using Overture translucent PETG for the interface. For PLA I have used Sunlu matte black and Polymaker matte black and dual extruded matte red/blue.
It prints great except the first lines of PLA onto the larger support interface always peels off with it when removed. The smaller support interfaces never pull up PLA when removed. I also tried with default interface pattern. What should I change or try to stop the PLA from being ripped up with the interface layer when removing the support structure?
Removing the support structure with the strips of PLA attached to the interface layer
Interface layer with the lines of PLA stuck to it.
