I have a dumb question, if there’s a large hole in the middle of an object, can you put the prime tower in the middle of the large hole? I realize the slicer flags it for potential collisions, but if the opening is large enough, it shouldn’t actually collide right?
You can place the PRime tower anywhere that isn’t over the model and then doesn’t generate a CONFLICT red warning when you slice.
Try and keep it at the edge and as close to the “poop chute” as you are able.
I would rotate the larger shape by 180º so the big arm is on the right side.
It will work as is, but, there will be less travel over the model with my suggestion.
I’ve always put it in one of the back corners myself.
The only issue I can see is that it prints to the tower first, so in theory…that should be a few layers above the model…meaning it could hit the tower when it moves around the model.
