Hello! I have a P1S, using Bambu’s slicer. I’m trying to print some models that are just below the 256mm limit height-wise.
However, it seems like about around the 240mm mark, the bed stops being able to lower. There’s a frustrated sound from the motor, and the nozzle just starts embedding itself into the print.
Has anyone has this issue? I’ve done a full maintenance cycle on the printer, cleaned everything I can see, lubed everything up, did a calibration, etc. But this issue persists.
When it gets to the lowest point and starts making the noise, there’s about 1cm visible of the lead screw beneath the plate. How much is visible on your printer when the bed is lowered to the lowest point?
Trying now in Orca slicer to see if I get any different results. However - I also realized that in fact the model only goes up to 250, not 256, so this seems like it’s not actually the issue. Hmmmm
