search for batman, get airplanes, search for apples, get frogs… its a waste of time. chatgpt says this is a MAJOR KNOWN COMPLAINT… and suggests using google searches instead of direct makerworld searches… and you know… it actually works .. although a hassle… Why does your search results seemingly leave out 99% of what the search was ?
I agree that search is not the best, and search could be improved in many ways.
I would like to see them hire more human curators for it.
However a comparison to a major search engine is not fair. Bambu is a big company but it has a fraction of the engineering budget of Google or Baidu.
One solution might be to partner with an engine and use them to search your site. They were common a while ago, but increasingly less common today and I don’t know why.
I need to do the same thing on Amazon…Amazon search is also useless
