I have just finished a print in petg (Prusa brand, 245C hot end, 70C bed, chamber was at about 35C other settings were stock. Room temperature is about 22C, 55% humidity) and have found that I get an area of poor printing near the front left hand side of the machine as shown in the attached photos. I see there is a seam near the problem area, would that cause this? The rest of the print is fine.
I had noticed this when I printed this part before but put it down to poor filament drying, this time I think my filament is ok, the humidity meter in the storage box showed 10% and the AMS HT showed less than 20% when printing.
If i print smaller parts where they are further away from the front left hand side they are fine.
Anyone else had this issue? Suggestions welcome!
Funny coincidence, a user reported exactly the same thing today. I wonder if there’s a connection. Have you done an update in the last few days? Also exactly on seam. It could be a coincidence!
The user updated his Bambu Studio: “I updated to Bambu Studio 2.5.0.64 about two hours ago, maybe that’s the cause?”

How strange! No I’ve had the machine since just before Xmas when I did an update then. I did do the Bambu Studio update this evening but I’m pretty sure it was after I printed the part and I’ve had this issue with large parts like a riser I printed and the mating part to that in the photos, both pinted a while ago.
The response from hakanipek seems to indicate that he had the issue prior to updating and his problem seems much worse than mine.
I’ll do a test print tomorrow and see if the sw update has changed anything.
Edited to add: I’ve just checked my issue of Bambu Lab Studio and its V2.4.0.7.0, not V2.5.0. I must have had the notification and not installed it.
So, I did a couple of test pieces this morning, I chopped my CAD file up to save time and filament, this time the seam wasn’t along the edge where the poor quality was.
I printed it fairly close to the beds front left hand corner to see what came out an it was pretty good with little or no imperfections, photo 1.
I then modified the file to have the seam as the actual part, resliced and reprinted, there was a slight seam witness but again no imperfections, this is photo 2. So, I’m guessing the printer is not the culprit but the slicer, anyone have any thoughts please?
