Poor Surface Finish

That’s great since it’s new, you have warranty available!

If the bed’s Z setting is fine, try applying the settings I used in your configuration and let me know how it goes.

The Studio version was 2.0.3.54 for the cube.

Maybe the A1 don’t like M900 K0.03 K-factor calibration remove it.

Just a heads up, I’ll be back online in a few days hope you figure it out.

I definitely needed to do this. Adjusted and now redoing the auto level calibration. This feels like it’s the exact problem. It seemed like my bed was on an angle, which it might have been. I’ll do a reprint and see. Can’t believe I missed this step. For some reason I thought the printer was taking care of this. You are amazing

Sorry, I just noticed a typo one zero was missing in cube file in the start filament G-code.

This code is correct.

I know you changed the nozzle was the screws also tight for the heater mount ?

Yup. I saw a few posts talking about that plate so I made sure that one was good. Manually levelling the bed has helped a bit, but the surface finish is still a mess when the head needs to go around features such as holes.

We’re getting there…

Ya looking normal in the 123 area but should be nice in other area also you can try adjusting the nozzle temp or top layer flow more.

Do the numbers with say 0.16 layer height and iron the top of numbers only use a layer height modifier if the numbers are part of design when printing.

You can also do the top clock layer pattern as concentric this will help do to hole in the middle of clock.

You can also sand pla the clock top is option but it should still be printing like 123 zone if numbers are glued on.

Have you also adjusted the belts or lubes it yet the belts will loosen up from when it was new.
