Possible problem with my brand new p1s combo

I set up my brand new p1s today, first print of a benchy and it sounds terrible. I’m using green PLA basic-10501.
Here is what the sound is like.

Without seeing a video of it printing, it doesn’t on the face of it sound bad.

My guess (purely a guess), you are printing something small and fast, the door is open and you are recording it close to the printer.

I was printing a benchy, that was next to the printer with everything closed.

If it was the one off the SD Card, that is a fast bench, it is meant to demonstrate the Ludicrous speed mode.

That is not a mode you would normally use.

It is also slow.

My guess was slow and fast, I was correct.

You were right next to the door.

All sounds normal.

Your models will not be printed at ludicrous mode unless you choose that for each print.

You are safe, all sounds good and the sound that concerned you is only because of the test file you chose.

You did nothing wrong.

That print is an ego print due to a long tradition of printing a benchy as fast as possible.

For reference.

Oh, I see. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Malc has a good point

That profile is there for the sole reason of showing off how capable your printer can be.

Ludicrous mode causes more problems in the long run. The decrease in reliability and part quality is not worth the small amount of time you gain. Sport mode is the max I usually do.

Just a theory, I think the printers have a little bit of a break in period. Some little sounds go away with a little bit of use.
