Possible to split one account into two?

I have my makerworld account with several hundret models now, but after the last years I now realize that I should have startzed withtwo accounts. One with my lightboxes and one with all the other stuff.
Is there a way to do the split. I I would jsut create a new account and uplaod those mdoels there it would be for sure seen as fraud. This is not intended at all.

I have thought the same thing.

There is not a way to do this, best way is to sort everything into collections instead of looking at all of your models in one place.

It is not about sorting. I ahve collections anyway.
It*s about enabling commercial membership.

I am saying that is the best way to do it as a solution in the meantime. The people that like the lightboxes can follow the collection with the lightboxes, and same with the other models.

What is it about then? What issue are you having with the commercial membership?

The logos are not possible have/give a commercial licence for.

Having a commercial licence does not apply to all of your models.

You have to opt into them on each model.

On the other side, you could always use a patreon account with your own terms.

Ok, then I will try it and see hwo it turns out.
Thank you!

I have been saying the exact same thing to friends for the last week.

It would require a list view so I can tick them to be part of a batch.

The recipient account would need to enable the ability to receive the model transfers.

Likely a toggle “accepting transfers” on the account so you do not get lots of unsolicited requests.

  1. Enable “accept model transfers from another account” on the receiving account.

  2. If enabled, show text box “enter the name of the transferring account”

  3. On the transferring account, select “transfer models”.

  4. A list view of the models is shown with a link on each to enable you to confirm the correct one. A checkbox is shown on each line.

  5. Enter the receiving account name at the top,

  6. Select one or more entries.

  7. Press the “Transfer” button.

  8. The process validates the receiving account has said the will “accept model transfers” and the account name they entered matches the transferring account.

  9. Transfer models.

  10. Inform receiving account via email that n models were transferred. Include a link to take them to the toggle to disable transfers option if they wish.

This would be trivial to add compared with much more involved checks and balances, leave the control in the hands of the recipient so no bad actors can cause harm and the easiest to code.

No, it is not possible to get the account commercialized with such models in the account.
This is what I thougt myself before.
