Posted a .gif with my rating and the system deleted my rating

So, I come across this adorable robotic arm L-ONE Desktop Robotic Arm No Screws or Glue Required【Cyberbrick】. I printed it out, assembled it, and was thoroughly impressed. There were two profiles so I rated them both and left a comment on one rating with a .gif of the arm in action.

Not long ago, the designer replied with “Thank you very much for your printing and appreciation.Even though you deleted your comment, I still appreciate it.”

I check my ratings and sure enough, the rating with the .gif was deleted for some reason. Thinking that it had something to do with me dropping two ratings on the same model within minutes, I just posted the comment and .gif in the other rating. Refresh the page and now that rating has been deleted as well, and I no longer have the option to rate either profile.

I’m assuming it was an issue with the .gif but I’ll post the whole comment here and you can tell me what I did wrong…

Just a guess, no facts: The .gif file is huge: 17MB - The system may have triggered an alarm. A .gif file that size is not normal. Use tools or a web service to reduce the size of .gif files.

Regardless of whether that was the problem, you should do it anyway, because some people are on the go with slow internet connections.

Edit: I’ve optimised it, and it’s now only 2MB, which is enough to demonstrate what it’s all about.

I figured it had something to do with the gif. I assumed I was ok because it was under the 30 mb file limit. I have a ticket in now to hopefully get that users 5 star ratings restored. I appreciate the optimization, thank you
