I have been trying to print the model shown in the images, and I keep getting what looks like under extrusion on the back face (see photos). The third image shows the bottom half of the model which contains the part that has been having issues. We have 3 different Bambu X1C printers, and they all do the same thing for this particular model. I am using Bambu PETG HF filament. We have not had issues with anything else that we have printed, so I am surprised that this particular model consistently has these pockets. I don’t have these issues with our glow in the dark PLA filament, but I have tried multiple different brands of gray in both PLA and PETG with the same issues each time. Does anyone have suggestions on what may be the issue here? I have tried the troubleshooting steps that I have seen for under extrusion (temp changes, speed changes, etc.) with no luck.
The supports seem to have printed OK, is it the same material type as the item you are trying to print?
@blchandl2 In this image, the supports are PLA and the object is PETG. I have tried soluble supports, support for PLA, and same material supports. All the supports looked good, but the part still had those pockets on that back face.
Can you share the .3MF file so I can take a look at it?

If the lowest pic does indeed show the entire model, you should be good flipping it upside down and printing it without supports…
The file you shared does not contain the geometry you are trying to print.
@EnoTheThracian made a good point that if what you show in the picture is the entire model, it would probably be best to flip it over.
As far as your settings go, you might try making a few changes to see if it helps.
- Shut off the auto calibration on your X1C. Perform a manual filament calibration for pressure advance and flow ratio.
- Try setting the wall generator to Classic. I have had issues on certain models when using the Arachne wall generator.
- You may want to use 3 walls and turn off ‘detect thin wall’.
It would help if you could post a screen shot of the slicing results at the layers you are having the issue.
