On my X1C I can pre-set the bed temp from the Studio app before I start a print job. On my P1S I cannot and have to set the pre-heat temp on the printer control panel, which then displays in Studio. Bug or nice-to-have? Studio and printer firmware versions are all current versions.
You should be able to on the P1S too. When you tap the bed icon you should see this:

I am not using the Handy app for pre-heating. The Studio app is the issue.

Oh, sorry. It works there too. If you change the number to the right of the bed icon and hit enter, it will got back to “0” until the printer accepts the command and then it will update and start heating.

I restarted Bambu Studio and now it works. Go figure. Thanks for your help.

Just a quick update. This problem is still occurring intermittently and I suspect is a network issue on my side. It’s like Studio or the printer forgets part of the connection information between the two. It’s a very low priority issue for me. This only occurs on my P1S; not my X1C. Stwange!
