Pressing on the print bed causes it to move up and down :(

My H2D keeping failing to auto level itself. I noticed that if I press lightly on the corner of the print bed, it clearly is no longer connected properly to the threaded rod. What is the proper fix for this? What might have caused this?

The lead screw nut is worn and the threads are stripped. You will need to purchase a new one and replace it. First start by contacting support. How old is the H2D? Apparently this was common on earlier models.

If you have an extra printer or have a friend with one, you can print a temporary replacement with this: H2D Replacement Lead Screw Nut - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

Regardless, should start by opening a support ticket.

It’s maybe 2 years old. I have exactly 2001 print hours on it.

This is exactly the issue then. Here is a discussion on it: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1oef9q7/h2d_lead_screw_nut_worn/

Also you can use this guide for the replacement procedure

Or you can try my quick repair which requires no disassembly except the 3 nut screws and you’ll be up and running in no time while you wait for your replacement set to arrive.

You will then decide if you want to install the new set, one user has a couple thousand hours of printing with a replacement nut from my kit with no issue.

@CarbonForge Thanks for the boost :+1::+1:
