Prevent AUX AMS (or any AMS) unit to unload automatically

I have an AMS2 on aux nozzle as well and it unloads EVERY time.?

I have some PETG, PLA, Support material in there. I don’t need it to unload after every print.

Unload should be an option in settings. I don’t need to unload after every print, especially on Aux and even on main nozzle. Sometimes I’m testing or doing repetitive prints etc and I don’t need to change filament.

I understand this can be achieved by editint start print G-code and saving a custom printer and remembering to switch….. why can’t it be an option in Bambu Studio so it can be injected into the g-code like other settings? so people don’t have to mess with custom printers and editing start_print gcode…

Agreed! I do a lot of high temp stuff and 30+ hour prints with filled up bed plates with lots of parts. The 2nd color is usually 20 layers or less than back to the main color.

It almost never fails, when the AMS goes to retract the color that’s only slightly used, it errors out every time because there is a 5cm+ piece of filment broken hanging out of the extruder and extending into the PTFE for that hotend.

It’s not a big deal to raise the glass and pull it out real quick.., but it happens about 90% of the time on long prints.., which makes sense.., considering the tool head dancing all over the place for 30 hours with a harder engineering filament still pulled into the other extruder the entire time.

It should be an option to unload a filament / nozzle when you don’t need it anymore in a print instead of doing it at the end. Totally with you on that.
