Hello,
I’m experiencing a display issue in the Preview tab since version 2.4.0 of Bambu Studio on Windows 10.
Description
The sliced preview becomes very difficult to read:
Important
Version comparison
v2.3.1 → OK (normal display) :
v2.4.0 and later → issue present :
Tests performed
Different models → same result
Slicing settings unchanged
The issue appears immediately after updating
Questions
Thanks in advance for your help!
What is the reason to use that old Studio?
To make it easier to compare the exact slicing behaviour, attach the 3mf file.
Hello,
As mentioned in my issue description, I’m using an older version (2.3.1) because I don’t have a choice: all versions since 2.4 have this bug (I test each one as soon as it’s released!).
And as also stated, all files show the same display issue.

I found two open issues for this problem on GitHub, but no indication that anyone is trying to fix it.
The only suggested workaround is to disable “Enable advanced G-code viewer” in Preferences.

### Printer
Bambu H2D serial 0948AD560502510
### Printer Firmware Version
01.02.02.00
### How to reproduce
1. Insert any model into the Prepare tab. You can even right click and add a primitive shape or model there.
2. Slice Plate
3. Go to preview tab and you can see the sliced model
### Actual results
<img width="1914" height="996" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/73532529-e11f-43bf-a2b9-265346cd1952" />

### Expected results
Expected to have the extrusion lines be filled in. Orcaslicer on the same PC shows it correctly.
Reinstalling Bambu Studio does not do anything.

I did search on GitHub, but without any success… I can only see that you were much better at it than I was!
Thanks for your help — I’ll give that a try!
I’ll also add a comment on GitHub with details about my hardware.

I remembered the pictures, but had trouble finding the issues. I looked up the 2.4 release date (Nov.'25) and then sorted ‘Preview’ issues by creation date to narrow down the search. It seems odd that there have not been more recent discussions of the problem.
