When using PLA as interface layer support for PETG bodies - and also enabling the prime tower, the prime tower can get messy and the nozzle may be full of PETG.
I think a solution could be to ensure that a solid layer of PETG is present before the first PLA layer is put onto the prime tower. This way the PLA layer will not need to bridge over the previous PETG layer with poor adhesion.
So, in general: Ensure that there exists a solid layer of the previous material on the prime tower before a new type of filament is put onto the prime tower.
