Prime Tower Error with Multi-Material Support After v02.05.00.66

After a recent update, Bambu Studio has started slicing the prime tower incorrectly when using multi-material supports.

Regardless of the model, as soon as I assign a different material to the support interface than the main material, the sliced prime tower contains horizontal lines floating in mid-air.

What makes this even more confusing is that the exact same issue occurs on both my Windows PC and my MacBook. :fearful:

I contacted support, but they were unable to reproduce the issue and suggested that I reinstall the software.
However, I have already performed a full uninstall and clean reinstallation more than four times, and the problem still persists.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue after the recent update?

That’s a feature to improve primetower reliability, not a bug now.

I was the first to report that 2.05 had a far more major issue. those lines were extending all the way outside the plate, making the head crash to the side of the printer.
Support is currently handling my case as if I merely “read” about it online and not like their update caused my machine to physically crash itself, potentially causing damage that might surface sooner or later. Couple things come to me already like cracked pcb, bent rails/rods, etcetc, but support handled it as if i asked “hey whats up with that”

couple hours later they released a hotfix that now calls “hairy prime tower” a feature..
Im disappointed …
