Prime tower now has random threads sticking out.
I think now it’s simply visible. The prime tower on the H2D had this filament snippets sticking out since I bought mine like 6 month ago.
So these where present all the time for me, but now you can see them in the slicer so that you do not place objects into that area.
Hm, I didn’t see them before the update either in the slicer or in the prints. They are definitely getting printed, my towers now have tails hanging off which is new.
Just it’s hard to imagine that that air-printing a bunch of these is intentional.
As you can see on these two towers, they were already present for me beginning of December, as I was printing this one on the H2D with an earlier Bambu Studio Version.
Maybe it was filament related, this is Bambulab PLA Matte.
I’ve never really stressed about the Quality of the prime tower because establishing a clean flow is part of the reason for a prime tower. But I used one yeaterday on the latest version (.66) and while it wasn’t pretty it served it’s purpose and everything on the model was excellent.
Well of course I’m not concerned about print quality of the tower as an end goal. But I don’t think it should look like it does, my towers are much messier than @user_1083141284’s photo, and the accompanying prints are not very good. Bits of support everywhere. Whatever, I’ll open a ticket.
Are you slicing directly from Bambu Handy / on the printer? Or are you preparing the print on your computer with Bambu Studio and sending the sliced file to your printer?
I do my complex prints on the MacBook with Bambu Studio because it’s much faster. Maybe that’s the difference. I am not having your problem with Bambu Studio thus far.
