Primer Tower Detection

bambu-studio-feature

Ok, this one gets me far too often and I would love to see if the slicer could include a primer tower detection. I print a lot of black and sometimes my old brain forgets to peel it out and then I go to print again and bad things happen.

  1. Detection Checkbox on send to printer
  2. Primer tower must always be in same spot (pre configured) otherwise how would it know to do #3
  3. Z up and move head on front corner to get bed height, z down all the way, move head to primer tower corner and z-up slowly until contact. If previous bed height == primer tower check height, then no PT detected. If previous bed height <> primer tower check height, then PT detected => Fail

Have been happening to me also lately. When I noticed I pressed the ‘cancel’ button on the handy, but it still continued with the levelling thing and so bumping in the prime tower.
