Probably already asked for but it would be cool if we could print by part while having one large part on the plate alongbwith the small parts. Maybe its already possible and i’m missing something.
It is possible if there is enough room for the parts to be spread out to the required clearance for the print head.
So, you can have one part that fits under the print by part line and another really tall part that prints 2nd? In opposite corners? How did you get the slicer to allow it?
I am not sure what you mean by “print by part line”. Here is the wiki on how to use print by object.
Move “Cube-2” to back left corner or resize it to be lower than the line you are pointing at. The way you have it, the gantry will hit that part when it tries to print “Cube-1”

Thats from the wiki. It is possible though? I just want it to print one small part and one tall part. Small part first. Small part would be below the gantry line. I thought it didnt. So havnt tried in a long time
Gotcha. Yes it’s possible. Just make sure the small part is far enough away from the tall part and it’ll work. The slicer will throw an error when it’s not in a good spot. Move around until it quits complaining.

You can use auto arrange and it should locate them properly.

You used to have to specify and rearrange the objects list order in the Objects tab, to be in the order in which they should print (aka small one first) but I think at some point the software versions became smart enough to figure that out now.
