I had a print fail on me earlier (my own fault just a bed adhesion issue). No problem, I will simply cancel the print. Later, I came to change the nozzle and noticed that the filament had not been cut and withdrawn, is this a known bug?
From a usability point of view this was a little confusing because now the filament cutter was very stiff, which may be a problem for newbies using exclusively the AMS-lite and think the machine is broken. Indeed, I normally never cut the filament manually since the AMS-lite always does it. Consequently, although it’s not normal procedure when changing the nozzle I normally don’t cut the filament, so I attempted to remove the nozzle with the filament still stuck inside before realising my mistake. So there is potential there for a newbie to damage the machine.
