I don’t know why but since a few days ago every model I try to print from Bambu Handy on iOS just says “Incompatible printer model”
I literlaly just printed out a model on my P1S (P1P with P1S upgrade kit if it makes any difference), then went to re-print from the mobile app and get this error message
I can print from SD card on Bambu Studio or via the control panel on the printer absolutely fine
I’ve been plagued with “storage abnormal” for months
I read somewhere it can be down to slow performing SD card - so I bought a new one, installed it, formatted it, and now the “storage abnormal” error is gone but the mobile app throws that error whenever I try to reprint anything
I didn’t copy anything across from old SD card, just put a new one in fully formatted and have sent the models over from Bambu Studio
This screenshot does appear to match what I see in iOS Bambu Handy,
Between the time and filament row is a printer & build plate choice followed by the preview thumbnail and button before the start print button which is visually different to that shown in your screenshot.
Are you sure the screenshot you provided is from iOS?
When i Slice with P1P selected in Bambu Studio i get a Warning:
“Please check the following:
The printer type selected when generating the G-code is correct
does not match the currently selected printer. It will
recommended to use the same type of printer for slicing.”
But it prints…
When i slice it with P1S selected, send it to the card and try to start it from the app i get the same "“Incomaptible Printer Model” Error.
i guess its ans issue when the app or the cloud cant handle the enclosure-kit correctly.
I have commented this error on another threat aswell:
I gave up eventually and sold my P1P/P1S
just had too many issues with it - constant issues with it saying the SD card was corrupt even though I changed it 3 times. Sometimes it wouldn’t open from bambu handy, sometimes it wouldn’t open from bambu studio
This really annoyed me as when I get an ebay order I usually just go on the phone, choose the model and print it, even if I’m out.
Then this issue appeared and all I got from support was “make sure you’re printing with the right printer model” - well of course I was!!
So I bought a P2S and it’s so much better, feels like a much more polished printer. USB is much better than SD card and I’ve had zero issues printing from anywhere.
