Print head crashes into the rear wall

Hi everybody,

this is more or less a copy of a support ticket I just opened.

I bought a P2S, my first 3D printer.

On 3 out of 4 prints I have done so far, the print head at some point crashed into the rear wall of the printer and then it started to produce spaghetti because it was printing in the wrong position, about 50mm too far towards the door. There were no error codes produced.

Here’s youtube links to the crashes:

Does anybody have a hint what the problem is?

Thanks,

Philip

I would re-run a full calibration (all the options), and disable the “nozzle clumping detection”.
Do you print from an USB drive?

A firmware update fixed the problem. The old FW version was 01.00.05.

Wanted to add - firmware update fixed my identical issue. Identical former firmware version.
