I am printing on a P1S. I have been printing for about a month. I am new to 3D printing. I mostly grab models from MakerWorld and print them. Most have been successful. I have been printing this one model several times. I have printed 14 actually with no problem. For some reason on this print, it got about 2/3 of the way through and then just started splintering and kept printing, but just fell apart. It doesn’t seem like the bed moves or the model moves, the print just starts fraying. I am using Sunlu Silk multi-color filament. I have used the same filament that I have used for the other 14 successful prints. Just this one failed.
Is the filament getting too dry? Too moist? I am new at this and don’t know what can cause this. I don’t want to start another build on this one because it takes alot of filament.

Before - This is the print right before it starts to fail
Beginning - This is right when it looks like the print starts to fall apart
Falling Apart - This is when the printer is still printing, but it is just starting to fall apart
Total Failure - This is the end where it just printed all over the place.
Any help would be appreciated. Or if I need to provide anymore information.

Try opening the glass door and checking for a partial clog
I will say Silk PLA filaments are less strong than regular PLA and can be crumbly, especially with thinner walls.
That said, I agree with @AwesomeTyTy , this looks like an extrusion disruption, likely due to heat creep.
What do you mean by “partial clog” or extrusion disruption? Are you talking about the chute? I have had that happen before and it did mess up that print. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here. I can see from the time-lapse that the chute is not clogged. What is heat creep?
When people refer to heat creep and partial clogs, those behave generally where the filament gets too warm and softens before it is supposed to - so it smushees down into a plug, which resist going up or down, or the extruder gear carves a halfmoon slice our of the filament and no longer can get any grip. The results is kinda “air printing” - machine does its moves but adequate plastic ain’t coming out the nozzle.

Ok now I understand. I will try the next print with the door cracked open to see if that helps.
I have this Jayo silk PLA that goes between silver and blue and the layer adhesion on this stuff is SO BAD
Layer Adhesion with silk is in general worse due to the elastomers
There’s a couple mfrs out there claiming to make Silk PLA+, and while it does NOT reach the same standards as +, it does perform better than normal silk. iBoss is one I use for their gold. It prints very slow if you want it gorgeous, put your patience pants on. It still scratches easy, but doesnt break apart easy.
Do we no longer recommend cold pull?
This Sunlu Silk seems to be working pretty good for me. We have printed 14 cups so far and after the recommendation to slightly open the door, I have not had any problems since. Working on my third after posting. Thanks for the Help!!
I appreciate all of the armchair troubleshooting but if you suspect the filament, swap and print one with normal PLA. Troubleshooting is divide and conquer. First logical slice? Filament or machine. How to divide that. Change one.
You’re having a complete layer adhesion and of course everything goes crazy after that. One would suspect, if it were filament, it would happen at more random positions. You indicated 2/3 of the way through on multiple occasions and, it is the hot layers during print, not the cold layers separating. Make sure you’re using a clean print profile to ensure the one you’re using didn’t accidentally get the cooling fans turned off at layer ■■■ or some such thing.
