Print multi parts with 1 layer support in between

Hi,

I’m trying to stack parts to print separated with a single layer of support material.

I modeled all parts. When I import it, I have 2 issues :

1- If I import it as multi part object, when slicing. It handles it as a single object, So the separator “object” and “stacked object” exterior layer is processed as infill (even though set as different filament). So it ends up having a base layer on the plate and the upper most top layer.

2- If I import it as multiple object, I can’t move them along the Z axis to stack them. It always reset to touching the plate.

Can anyone guide me through it ? i’ve been searching for some info but didn’t find any solution.
