Is it allowed to upload a print profile with a different model orientation and with/without support? I guess yes, as it may and definitely serve a special purpose for the model.
I mean you can upload a new profile that only has 1 setting changed, it is a different profile, so in the example where you’re changing the orientation of a model for better supports that would be more than valid
Yeah I think it’s fine, but I’d recommend giving the points to the designer so they aren’t mad at you.

Also, there are rules against uploading the same profile with minor changes, make sure it isn’t solely a different rotation.
For example, rotating a cube or cylinder 90° will likely be an issue.
Rotating a complex model 90° because it prints better on the A series, make the print profile only work for the A series, untick the others.
If you are rotating the model, moving a couple of parts and changing support or other properties, you are golden.

It is this model/profile:
If I rotate the model the clip has more tension and is more robust.
But most people líke to print without any support.
Which is easily possible, but the clip has then less tension and is not that robust.
So the user has the choice and it is the same model but different requirements.
Who know about 3D printing will understand that there might be different considerations and requirements and you can not achieve all requirements.
Some people asked for more tension on the spring and this is on of the solutions.
Anyway I don’t understand what Bambu would restrict about the print profiles.
I guess one download is only counted once as well a print and not multiple times.
When I recently asked to put away a profile where only the material was exchanged to another matial it was denied. No change on the model (which would be prohibited as it is a standard license).

My suggestion is to caption it accordingly and detail it in the description.

Just to inform that on same model (my model upload) they take down one of the two profiles (and deduct points) said duplicate, it has many settings not just one, filament orientation, supports, brim and others. I think rules are not clear and that profile must always give points to creator, its name ‘profile’ born for upload different plate and filaments settings but due to points earned it became too important and object of false uploads. That is my personal thought. Sorry for my English hope to be clear in my explanation.
Except for some high follower profile. The reupload their models with different color and just rename the models in their group of sharers.
Isn’t it possible to ask somebody for a preapproval. The rules are not clear, plus they judge like the feel, not according to the written rules.
And in fact a duplicate download of a profile is not counted double like for the prints. Therefore it is useless to restrict this in any way.
I recently asked to take down a profile were somebody just changed the material. Support refused. If I would have uploaded a profile with different material my account would be looked for a month or forever I I had to move everything to makeronline.

I believe this is down to no real rules at their end and the different views of each staff member.
It is annoying.
I still have one leach profile from a different user on one of my models that ONLY changed the filament’s colours I chose, a clear breach that they refused to remove.
Nothing else.

If the general settings could be reset/set for each print plate it would be much easier.
Some settings are not available on the object level, which also make no sense.
You are perfectly true. Different view of staff persons. This is the real problem and you are true. That’s because rules are not clear.
