Update: tl;dr: Saving 3MF files from Bambu Studio with A1 printer selected will result in 3MF files that are not compatible with P1S, X1C, P1, X1 and X1E on Makerworld. Workaround is to change printer type to P1S, save the profile and reupload.
I noticed my newly uploaded print profile is not compatible with the P1S and X1C, even though I designed it for my A1 which has always resulted in a broader printer compatibility.
I knew it wouldn’t be compatible with the A1 mini due to the model size.
I’m NOT using print by object, which is known to cause printer restrictions.
Using Bambu Studio 2.4.0.70 which I need to update. I also used two modifier cubes to make a portion of the model 100% infill.
I’ll update Bambu Studio, resave the profile and update a second profile to see if it opens up compatibility. Other than that I really don’t know.
I hope older printer styles continue to be included in broad print profile compatibility going forward.
If I take the ‘Exported as one stl, then remade in BS 2.5.0.66’ profile, open it, change my printer to P1S, slice, save, then upload the profile again, calling it ‘Sliced for P1S’ the P1S and X1C, X1, P1 and X1E profiles will suddenly appear.
We didn’t have to do this last week, right? Feels like a bug, adding bug-report
I also changed all of the profiles that weren’t compatible with the P1S to private, then loaded the model page in an incognito window and the A1 printer is still valid with the P1S sliced profile.
So until this is resolved, designers should definitely switch their printer selection over to P1S before saving the 3MF and uploading to Makerworld.
I am having the same issue. I had to make a new profile just for the X1C/P1S. I want to keep the main profile based on the X2D as that’s what I use. This is affecting multiple models sliced for the X2D. Example 1:
