I got some print profiles and point revoked as they do violate the Community Guideliness?
The new rules should be in place starting from 9th of October as far I understand, and I still have some profiles where I had the print plate pictures in place, but for one profile I am sure there were as well other photos?
Somehow this place is strange, I also got a blocked for one month I they
said I try to get points as I print the modells myself, … sure this is what a 3D printer is for.
And on the other hand they like pictures to proof it was printed before.
They anyway access all our printers to count the prints, they could easily not count own prints…
Are the print profile rules already active now or what else could have provoked the takedown of some of my print profiles?
Only rendered pictures I could hardly believe as some members just have rendered print profile and model pictutres, where it is clear it is not sure it was printed before at all.
Profiles without real pictures from anyone besides the model maker has been enforced for a very long time.

If you have real pictures in the model’s photos, it seems profiles photos can be skipped, otherwise consider them mandatory or anybody’s reports will likely trigger a removal.

It was own models, not those I uploaded to other models.
But I had real photos for all my models as well in the print profiles,
but build plate pictures in the print profile that could be choosen before on makerworld, which were the profile pictues.
I would understand that they mark it as private or inactive , makes no sense to delete them.
The profiles you show in the picture I took down myself. Better than having my account locked. People should maintain their profiles themself.
The “new rules” are not new rules, they are existing rules with some changes.
The changes will be retroactive to the existing profiles beginning in October.
Any existing profile that doesn’t meet the existing rules can and will be reported by those who notice them.
Are you saying that your models have been removed by MW? They usually only mark them so they cannot be seen by the public or published by you again.
Are you sure you cannot provide some screenshots showing the evidence of photos yourself and share them here?
MW would have provided a reason for each model they decided could no longer be published. What were those reasons?

I got one profile reactived, the strange thing was that I already added a new picture to that particualr profile. But the build palte picture from days was still there as profile picture. So it looks like they have to put some more effort into that thing to also look on the whole profile.
When I appealed for a second profile where there already was a real picture at the profile and real pictures at the model from beginning on they blocked my account from uploading for one week.
In the take down message there was already the a photo at the profile.
But now I will help them to cleanup makerworld:
They asked me to do the following:
“3. Report any violations (such as models, print profiles, comments, or accounts) and provide detailed information about the violation.”
to be áble to upload again.
