My print profiles don’t show certain printers in Makerworld despite having selected them on the print profile page.
My Model shows this on the Standard & Jumbo Shelf
People are confused and think I’ve taken down the model.
I tried to workaround this by just reselecting the printers, but despite around 5min of verification time nothing happened.
Same here…
I found no workaround but to upload additional print profiles, especially for newer printers. Would love to see this issue solved.
I had this problem as well, I got it fixed with switch from print by object to print by layer. There seems to be some coincidence. Try to change that and see if it changes anything.
I am actually not comfortable dupliating entire print profiles (I don’t even think I use print by object) for an obvious bug. This doubles maintenance effort on my side for no obvious reason.
It should either be fixed or it should be declared before publishing those models that this is a limitation. Either way is fine, but clarity is important imho.
When that happens for me, it is usually something to do with
the purge tower being put in the wrong place
OR
limitations on part height when the print order is by part instead of by layer.
To fix the purge tower problem, I try setting the printer used in the print profile to the one with the smallest compatible build plate.I t seems to handle automatically repositioning the purge tower on larger plates better than if it has to reposition it on a smaller plate.
