I don’t know which firmware version I have on my ams units but I know they are all updated along with my printers. I always update right away. So I don’t think that is the reason that the orange translucent PLA is scanning as PETG.
@MalcTheOracle @ElektroQuark It’s been one month since the original post… did we get Bamboozled? I really like the filament, I just ordered 6 more rolls… but posting a thread like this asking for community engagement and promising some free filament, and then never even coming back to it… it just doesn’t seem like good business to me.
Of course we did.
I truly love the new filament, the bold colours only, not the muted versions.
My only complaint is the lack of a yellow and green variant.
As to the “share and we give”, it isn’t the first time this bait and not deliver occurred. They did it with the new TPU 85A/90A.
I gave a great suggestion to that that others also thought was worthy, I don’t remember anyone being rewarded with a free roll, certainly not my suggestion, which I remind you, was the best.
Wow! This stuff really look Great!!! I can just imagine making LED DIFFUSERS for strips. You on a Bambu Labs.
Can’t wait to try it!
I bought the sky blue one because it was closest to clear. Idk why there is no clear.
This is exciting!
Id love to try to make a brand logo translucent for a business card holder
Not me.
Hi PrinterMcgee. The finally contacted me about trying it, so a couple samples are in the way.
Yeah, me too .
Me three
WOW! thats soo cool. I really want it, it would make a great lamp shade or airsoft glasses. I wonder how durable it is. liek petg or pla?
It has the properties of PLA as it is based on that filament.
The five strong colours are excellent, but I am not a fan of the weaker five.
I have all the PETG translucent filaments; those have a bit more flex as they are PETG, but again, they have weaker colours.
I am holding out hope that strong yellow and green, as well as translucent, will be added.
