I got my H2D last week, so I don’t have a lot of experience yet. I was using my X1C the last 2 years. On the X1C I did not bother to much about profiles, since the impact on printing times was rather low. Often times there was no big difference between 0.12 or 0.16mm layer height. I’m referring to 0.4mm nozzles, since I have never used another one.
On the H2D on the other hand, this seems to be a completely different story? I printed a few parts and got completely unexpected (long) printing times. I’m not talking about an increase of 20% but rather 100% or more. I’m not used to such long printing times.
Is there a bug regarding indicated printing times in Bambu studio or is there such a big difference in the printing profiles? Do you use standard profiles or did you tweak the settings (accelerations and velocities)?
I would like to use mainly 0.16mm layer height but still get similar printing times. I actually thought there will be an advantage for the H2D, since I do a lot of two material prints. At the moment this seems not to be the case.
