Printer compatibility on model page not displaying X1 / P1 printers?

I’ve uploaded a a refillable cat scratch pad to Makerworld and I’m running into something that I can’t quite explain.

I took care to make the model printable on all Bambu printers except the A1 mini. The print profile explicitly checks every compatible printer (X1, P1S, P1P, A1, etc.) and intentionally excludes only the A1 mini due to build volume constraints.

However, on the model page, MakerWorld only shows compatibility with H2 series, P2S and A1.

It does not show the X1, P1S, or P1P at all, even though they are enabled in the profile and should be fully compatible.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there something specific about Makerworld’s compatibility detection or profile settings that could cause certain printers not to appear, even when they are checked in the profile?

Any insight would be appreciated, I wanna make sure I didn’t miss a setting somewhere.

Here is the model link for reference:

If Print by Object is enabled, this can cause some printer models to not be listed as compatible

That’s not it, everything is print by layer.

Okay, interesting development… I just re-sliced the file, this time manually setting the printer to a P1S (I own both a P1S and an H2D, but I usually slice with the latter), replaced the file on Makerworld, and now it shows as compatible with every model except the A1 mini, exactly as intended.

This is weird…

I assume you mean the cutting guide, the other parts show those printer models ok, could be the slicing for those printers failed for some reason, it looks like it should fit just fine on the 256mm beds

You could try saving the file again with a different name and replacing the uploaded file to see if it manages to slice it in the cloud again properly

No, I mean both print profiles. However, I just re-uploaded the one with all printable parts, manually setting the printer to a P1S, and now it shows all printers. The cutting guide print profile is still the original upload, and it does not show the X1 and P1 family.

Yes the cutting guide doesn’t show it you would need to re-upload that file in order to get the servers to re-slice it or attempt to re-slice it, but you will want to just change the name for that to happen, just add a v2 in the name somewhere even if it isn’t actually a v2, otherwise it sometimes doesn’t properly trigger
