Printer delivery and DB Schenker chaos (rant)

Just a warning, since DB Schenker is undergoing “structural changes” currently:

Friday last week, my printer’s shipping history by DB Schenker got an entry that I “refused the package”. I got an email early that day that it is out for delivery, but after that nobody contacted me anymore. A bit later they added “Incorrect order data from customer” to the shipping history. I checked my Bambu profile, it is correct.

Sent a request via DB Schenker’s contact form, and just found a “message could not be undelivered” reply in my spam folder. Their mailbox is full. Seems their customer service got reprioritized.

Hoping I will get this printer at all. /rant

My first H2C was also delivered with schenker. They just returned it to sender without giving notice (there was an agreed delivery date). Second one came with rhenus.

It will not arrive before Kingsmas. I wouldn’t sleep with an H2 floating in some truck 3 days before the holydays :scream:

My came with DB Schenker to the Netherlands 26Nov and they called day before to set the moment and driver called me on the day when he was nearing my home. We checked the box together and all was very professional all i can say. Just adding my experience sorry for yours so far.

Thank you all for the input. :+1: Bambu support confirmed that the package was returned and that they will reship it. In the meantime I can plan projects. Having it delivered in the middle of this holiday season is is not the best idea, I agree. I can wait, but the incorrect info given in the shipment history was disconcerting.

For me DBSchenker in Austria just like to deliver to the curb not my appartemnt. As I told the delivery guy I have to get an ant (Hubwagen Jungheinrich) from the cellar he brought it to the door of the house but declined to bring it to the appartment. But at least I saved 50m to drag it there. But 115€ for delivery and just to the curb is a lot.
Amazon delivers kitchen appliances like a fridge with double the weigth to the appartment for 39€.

Yes, I am aware of that fortunately. I got a small cart-type thing to move it to my apartment. In my case the “curb” is even not directly in front of the apartment block. So that gets often interesting with shipments. Last time, the driver wasn’t even willing to cart a heavy package to the front door, even though they confirmed they will bring a Hubwagerl for that.

Got an update: the printer just went out for delivery again. Hope it goes well this time, haven’t received a phone call or specific time window yet.

Hope it works out well, sometimes i feel i am just lucky or things are different in different countries i have very little trouble with deliveries and trust me i get a lot of packages… in fact i need to make a few runs to the paper recycling soon because people might think i am a one of these hoarders you see on tv but just for empty boxes.

It did, luckily I was at home today though! The driver called me that he will arrive in ten minutes or so. He was friendly, the printer was his second to last delivery today and in pristine condition. Setup process is running currently.

Watching those Strongman contests paid out, it is possible to lift it on your own onto a table. Help would make it much easier of course.
