Fairly regularly I have been experiencing an issue where my prints pause due to an error with the AMS feeder motor overheating. What I have noted is that the filament appears to tighten on the edges of the reel resulting in the filament being pulled down on the reel. I am assuming this is what is causing increased friction and as a result the overheating.
When this happens the printer pauses but it keeps the bed, chamber, and filament nozzle hot with all the fans running. Last night this happened around midnight meaning it kept everything hot for nearly 8 hours.
I am looking to see if anyone has created some sort of notification system that would be sent to my phone and wake me up if I am asleep or elsewhere. Reporting on the actual printer seems pointless.
Any ideas?
