Printer freezes during printing

My 3D printer is facing many issues:

  1. When I send a print job, the download is very slow.

  2. Sometimes the download gets stuck.

  3. The printer freezes during printing, especially during the first layer.

  4. When upgrading the firmware, the update gets stuck at 25% or 32%.

  5. Manual firmware update shows an error.

I have already tried several solutions:

  • Removed and reinserted the SD card

  • updating firmware without SD card

  • Formatted the SD card

  • factory reset

  • Changed the Wi-Fi network

But the issues are still not resolved.

Did you remove the card when the printer was turned off? Where did you format the SD card? It’s better to get a new card and try with it!

This sounds like the SD card is failing.If re-formatting doesn’t fix it, replace it with a new one rated for high write/rewrite cycles.
