Hi All,
I have a perfectly working P1S that sometimes (1 out of 10 or 20 prints) has a funny problem.
While printing, the head stops moving, the light in the printer turns off, and the fans keep on blowing air. This takes about 10 to 20 seconds, then the printer resumes as if nothing happend.
The printer is a Bambulab P1S, about a year old now. The model is sliced in Bambu studio, and the problem happens in PLA, PETG and ABS profiles, so it’s not due to a specific profile setting.
The filament is a generic PLA, made by Jayo and tuned by myself.
There are no photo’s to show as the problem resets itself after 10 to 20 seconds. The only visible notice is that where the printhead stopped, there is a little blob visible due to overheating.
Extra information:
As said, this is not happening in every print. Sometimes it happens, then 10 to 20 prints, nothing happens (or I don’t see it happening), then again the problem is there.
I couldn’t find anything about this problem related to the P1s, but I found a similar case described by someone else about an A1 that does the same thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Brian.
