Just finished up a print with my .2 nozzle, it was a 2 color print so using the og AMS on P1S printer. Took over 6 hours just for this little guy because of the smaller nozzle. Anyways it looks great except it looks like It “crapped itself” 2 times on the top of the print. (One smaller area by other text on the left not shown).
The only two colors I was using was the blue and white you see in the print itself. Both filaments from elegoo, their rapid petg. I’ve had “oozing” of the other color that was in use before but nothing like this, this isnt a color that was involved in the print or even in the ams. This is just a mistake. I was using BambuStudio for the designing and g code generation of this print, nothing in the slicer showed anything wrong with these two locations not even seam spots.
I am wondering what could be the reason for this and/or if anyone has had something like this happen to them before as well.

That’s more than likely a hangover from a previous print. Either it was stuck to the nozzle somewhere or your purge chute had some filament stuck in there and your nozzle picked it up during a color change.
To prevent from happening, you need to make sure to check and clean the nozzle and the purge chute for any materials that are stuck.
Came here to recommend Leckiestein as well - his Steinwipe motion control gcode mods are great, and allow you to add extra nozzle wiping cycles ever so often to catch any of these kinds of things so they don’t end up on your prints.
He’s brilliantly clever and innovative, but like most creatives he needs help with marketing and simplifying his product offerings. He gets a bit lost in the weeds with too many options when it really could be distilled down to one or two choices.
…I actually forgot about his track system, thanks for mentioning it, I’m gonna print some out right now and give it a go!
He has leaned very hard into two products which I think was a waste of time. The newer versions of the steinwipe are nominally better than the older ones.
The track system is perfect, but a PITA if your printer and filament are not perfectly calibrated.
With how much money he makes off of those, I am surprised that he has not hired a team.
