Hi all, I have an A1 with AMS Lite and I am trying to print a lightbox with 5 different colours on the face.
Is it possible and to get the printer to pause so I can swap the filaments on the AMS when it needs another colour?
I know about putting pauses into the G-Code but that requires looking down the z access for layer changes, with the lightbox cover all the colour changes are on the same layer, so how can I insert pauses?
In my head what I want to do is have a pause when it changes one of the filaments instead of having to watch it for the whole print.
Hope this makes sense.
Mike
Search YouTube for 5 colors with one AMS. Lots of videos on the subject.
I have and I am doing the print the way the videos describe, I just wondered if there was a way that meant I didn’t have to babysit the printer for hours watching for a filament change
Ok, no other way to do it that I know of then.
