Printing a Tube for Photography

I need some advise. I want to print a Tube to extend a tripod. The final thing should be a T-section. So the short part goes on the tripod and the bigger part will be used to insert a rod.

Now i wonder how i should setup a slicer in general to print a tube. The size of this will be ~1inch in diameter, probably using some CF enhance material for durability. I obviously do not want to have support inside the tubes, that will be a pain to remove and a pain to sand and a pain to use.

Any hints?

Sure thing. Something like this STL (with the long tube being hollow the whole way, here there is a blockage in the crosssection).

biggest problem you’ll have is structural strength as you have a T format, one of those will have strength applied along the layer lines which will be a weakness, you’ll probably need to find the right print orientation to mitigate this - there are a number of videos on youtube about this, it’s actually possible that cnc kitchen already strength tested that kind of shape
