Printing Errors (Z-Layer) air print

Hallo Bambulab community. Ich habe seit ca. 3 Monaten massive Probleme beim Drucken. Mittlerweile schlägt jeder größerer Druck fehl. Folgendes Fehlerbild habe ich immer und immer wieder:

Ich habe unzählige Drucke, die nicht funktionieren.

Heute habe ich mal eine Kamera daneben gestellt und einen ganzen Druck extern gefilmt. Und ich konnte etwas feststellen. Nach ca. 1 bis 2 cm (meistens unterschiedlich) hat das Modell einen Fehler. Es hat horizontale Lücken. In dem Video kann man gut sehen was passiert. Mitten im Druck fährt das Druckbett ca. 1 cm nach unten und der Druckkopf druckt mehrere Layer weiter. Es kommt auch Filament raus. Anschließend geht der Druck weiter und das Druckbett ist nach oben gekommen. Das wiederholte ich in dem Video genau drei Mal.

Oft kommt es vor, dass das Gehäuse vom Druckkopf abfällt, da die Filamentrester an den Druckkopf stoßen.

Ich weiss nicht warum … hat jemand eine Idee?

Hello Bambulab community. I’ve been having massive printing problems for about three months now. Every larger print fails. I keep encountering the following error pattern:

I have countless prints that don’t work.

Today I set up a camera and filmed an entire print externally. And I noticed something. After about 1 to 2 cm (the exact amount varies), the model develops a defect. It has horizontal gaps. You can clearly see what happens in the video. In the middle of the print, the print bed drops about 1 cm, and the print head continues printing several layers. Filament also comes out. Then the print continues, and the print bed rises again. I repeated this exactly three times in the video.

Often, the print head housing falls off because the filament remnants hit the print head.

I don’t know why… does anyone have any ideas?

I’ve already printed almost 2 kg of filament. Thanks!

Wow that video is wild. When I get home tonight I’ll try to look at that 3mf, something is super wrong for it to do that lol

ja. Ich bin total am Verzweifeln. Ich habe das aber bei mehreren Modellen. zB. das schwarz weiße klappt auch nicht. ich weiß auch nicht genau, ob es nur passiert, wenn ich aus der Software heraus drucke. kann auch über die App passieren.

Yes. I’m completely desperate. I’m experiencing this with several models. For example, black and white printing doesn’t work either. I’m not sure if it only happens when I print from the software; it can also happen via the app.

I opened the 3mf in bambustudio, sliced it, checked the preview. Didnt see any strange travels generated.

I wonder if you inspect the Z axis components if you see anything wrong. Like compare bearing positions etc to the reference photos in wiki Bambu Lab P1 series printer Maintenance Recommendation | Bambu Lab Wiki

Open a support with that video and see what they say too!

Hello and thank you for your support. I’ve already completed the tasks on the wiki page (except for the extruder assembly). I couldn’t find any errors.

If you sliced the file yourself, you obviously won’t be able to find any errors. Could you take a look at the G-code file I also provided? However, in the Bambulab preview, you don’t see any Z-axis movements of the print bed, only the X/Y movements, as far as I know. So it’s difficult to find this offset of several centimeters in the G-code. I’m afraid I have no idea. I’m also not sure if these movements are even present in the G-code at all, and perhaps the printer just did something very strange?!?

My guess is SD card corrupted.

It happened when it did z-hop from one object to the next object. Some how a single bit flipped (or maybe more than a single one) and turned -0.2mm movement in Z direction into -10mm movement.

I dunno whats going on recently w/ slicers read/write of .3mf.gcode format, but it sure isn’t interoperable anymore – that sliced file for example wont read on orcaslicer.

I redownlaoded bambu to read the gcode and it showed the same - no planned movement in the spot your machine is actually moving in.

So the sort of good news is that the software isnt commanding the machine to do that, so you can hopefully be assured that you can scope your debug down to the machine itself

Thanks for your effort! You even installed software for me. Thank you. But are you sure you can actually see the Z-axis movements in the slicer views?

You’re welcome to do the same steps on your box with your file and your sliced result, but I feel pretty ok in saying that the gcode isnt instructing the machine to do that
