I have had my H2C since December. It has printed quite a bit since then, but I am getting issues with chamber temperature printing PETG or PLA. My X1C that I have had for a number of years sits in the same room and has never had this alert, even when printing the same model at the same time - they sit along the same wall, about a metre apart.
It started that I would get an alert saying that the fan was going to be increased due to the chamber temperature being too high, and I noted it was around 41 degrees C when that happened. when that happened, I generally went in also and bumped up the exhaust fan 10% and it was fine after that.
However, lately the print just stops altogether claiming that the chamber temperature is too high and wants me to open the front door or the top cover - and this can be with the first 40 layers. I have never, ever had to do this on my X1C, even when printing PLA, so is the H2C just way too sensitive or do I have a setting set wrong somewhere. At the moment I am printing with PETG with the front door open because of this, and the room has a ceiling fan running and a cross flow of air through a large window, it just makes no sense to me.
This can occur when using the Engineering Plate (it runs a little hotter for the bed temp), or with the standard Textured build plate, with default bed temp settings. With PLA and the SuperTack plate, I can get an alert, but it does not stop, or hasn’t yet, but I mainly print with PETG and the Textured build plate and see the alert often, the stopping the print is more recent.
Can anyone offer any advice as to what I need to be looking for please?
