So I print some small parts with some precision fitting (like .1mm), and the whole part is 5-6mm big.
I used .4mm nozzle, .08mm layer, .3mm line width. the element looks good and with required details, but dimensions are a bit off, so I had to print a few prototypes and adjust sizing in CAD, for example I had to increase hole’s inner diameter by .2mm. outer dimensions looks good.
My question is, instead of manually redesigning your model in CAD to accommodate those 3d print inaccuracies (caused maybe just by filament), can I just adjust some settings in the slicer ?
I guess Precision>X-Y hole compensation is exactly for that ?
should I test and set them per profile? (it’s on profile panel) or per filament ?
