Printing problem always in the same place

Hello everyone! I have printed the same model twice now and always have a printing problem in the same place.
What could this be?
Otherwise the A1 always prints very cleanly.

What are your settings if i may ask?

Everything standard except 4 wall lines

Can you show a picture of the complete model?

Have you inspected the z-rods to see if there is damage or missing lubricant?

hmm then maybe there must be some mechanical or gcode related issue that you might be overlooking (just saying)

it is this: Corner shelf for a Flexa bed by user_2361770152 - MakerWorld

I’ll take a look at it and oil it again. But the other side of the model is OK

OK, thank you! Mechanical would not be so good. The printer is only about 2 weeks old. Would that be a case for support?

Have you noticed this on any other model?

Test 1.

For a test to rule things out, do the following.

  • Create a new build plate in Bambu Studio.
  • Right-click the build plate and add a primitive cube
  • Resize the cube to be 30mmx30mm and 2cm taller than the problem area on you model

Print this.

If it is mechanical, the issue should also occur on this basic model.

Test 2

  • Rotate the model 180° and reprint.

Which side is the damage on?

Should you need to contact support, these two tests will inform them you have attempted to rule out the issue.

Either way, it will provide more answers to work with.

If it looks like it isn’t z-rod damage and the issue stays in the same place from the second test; providing the model here might allow us to review it for potential geometry issues that might cause the issue.

No, but I haven’t printed very many models yet.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer! I will try that and get back to you here.
Happy holidays,
Greetings, René

Test 1:
I positioned and printed the cube in exactly the same place.
The surface is perfect!
So it must be the model - but that’s OK. I’m glad that the printer is OK.

Thank you very much for your help.

I’m glad you used my suggestion to test if the issue is the printer or the model.

We still haven’t worked out what is wrong with the model, if you wish to do that, please share the link to it or the 3mf.

Did you solve your own problem or was it the information provided that allowed you to solve it?

I know you are knew here, but p, think of the next person with a similar issue and comes to this question hoping for an answer. They will think you solved it and miss the other half of the important tests I provided.

Glad you found the problem by help from one of us, keep making things!

I’ve changed it - it was your posting that put me on the right track.

I’ll print the corner tray again, but it will take a while…
