So,
Preface with, I’ve done this before. I’ve got a spool of Bambu ABS that came apart that I printed a short extender for so I could use it without rewinding. It doesn’’t fit in the AMS anymore so I’m using the external spool feature.
I’ve got a splitter. Using my Panda Touch, I unload the AMS filament, manually push in the filament from the external spool. I go to the Device section of OrcaSlicer and set the filament details.
From the Prepare section, I update the AMS and everything shows as below:
I do a Slice Plate and print, unchecking “Enable AMS”, it transfers the file and begins the prep.
It shows the path for the white filament

It goes through all the gyrations, gets to Auto-bed leveling, finishes that and the process dies. I’ve restarted the printer, Orca Slice the computer, no joy.
What am I doing wrong?
