Printing with SUNLU PA6-GF on H2D

Hi,

I am printing with SUNLU PA6-GF .. I do not have a profile for it so I used Bambu profile.

When using BIQU Glacier with Vision Miner nano polymer the PA sticks so hard to the plate, it is almost impassible to remove the part. Needs a scraper. With Bambu own PEI plate it was better but also hard to remove.

The SUNLU base parameters are 50-70 C for plate while Bambu is 100 C, while print is suggested to be 270-290 versus Bambu 265 ?

When printing a simple boxed entity with a 90 degree portion I used HIPS as support interface for this 90 degree extrusion. It works like a charm, printing is very nice, the support can be removed OK. The only problems I see is that the part is glued to strong to the plate and the support interface is not so easy to remove.

When I printed a large box (16h print) with the open portion towards the plate the HIPS did not stick to the PA so good.

When used default temperatures (plate 100, print 265) it was more or less ok, not perfect but resonable.

When I raised printing from 265 to 270 (SUNLU suggests 270-290) the print failed :smirk: The top of the box was shifted by a few mm… It seems that the high heat that was built inside the box was to high, the HIPS interface did not stick to the base support (PA6-GF) and as a result the hole top of the box simply shifted.

I have printed a temperature tower and It looks like that 245-260 seems OK.

I am planing to print some more tests and calibrations with plate at 70 and see how it goes.

If anyone has suitable profile or suggestions it would be great.

Thanks, Noam.

Anyway as we have several users with our 3D printers we had a mix of materials.

It seems that at some point someone replaced the material to ASA-CF .. I thought that it is PA-GF

No wonder it did not work.

After finding this error and loading SUNLU PA-GF I used Bambu own PA-GF filament profile as base and it prints almost good. The only problem I have encountered was top layer was a bit problematic and lots of purged particles on the bed and on the prime tower..

I used HIPS as interface layer and it works great, recommended.
