Printing with TPU 93A

Hi all,

I have problems with my Bambulab X1C printing TPU. I tried before but with another color of filament and everything was ok, as I know.
However, at present I have the problem as you can see in the photos, there is a line in the middle as the layer cannot be printed correctly or there is not enough material in some zones. I do not know why this happens, because I use the parameters of this:

Do you know why this happens? Thank you!

hello, I downloaded and opened the file because an error on a layer like this can sometimes be generated when slicing the model. But that’s not the case here, I can’t see any anomalies in the layers with bambu studio. However, your filament is showing bubbles (particularly visible at the top of the booth) - have you dried your filament as humidity can cause this type of defect.
As for the different layer during printing, the time I had this problem, it was linked to a filament feed problem on the external support. As TPU is elastic, it can be stretched if the spool jams a little. And everything returns to normal when it’s unblocked.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful

Thank you so much @yoyocrf.
Do you know how many time should I dry the filament and the temperature?

As far as I’m concerned, I follow the recommendations given by Bambu Lab (see the link here : dry filament recommendations
I use the SUNLU S4 dryer for this and there are pre-configured modes for each type of filament which saves me a little time on drying and keeps the filaments dry between 2 prints if I don’t use the spool any more.

Looks like underextrusion in that layer to me.
Can happen with TPU.

I never printed TPU on my X1C yet, but on my other printers i have.

I don’t know your print settings, i guess Stock Bambu settings.
Try going down with the speed (-10mm/s) for all Lines and Infill and try it again.

My TPU (eSun) settings on my A1 Mini are somewhere around:
Hotend: 220°C
Bed: 60°C
Speeds:
Bottom layer: 40mm/s
All other layers: 50mm/s

Never had any problems
Hope it helps
